The template automatically sets the following categories: Extracted images
(or Extracted images with broken file links)

To add your language to the list of languages supported by this template, please copy the code of Template:Extracted from/en (or any other language version you prefer to translate) and replace the text strings in there (the form below can be used to create a translation, the English version is preloaded in the edit box). Please change the parameter lang from en (or whatever language you are translating) to the language code of your language.

The 3 parameters "1", "2" and "3" MUST be defined in the language subpages, see how in the source code of {{Extracted from/en}} for example.

"by" modification

The user name specified with "by=" is modifyable: either by complete coding {{ U | username }}, or by a modification code. That code can be specified with either u=, m=, 4=, 3= or 2=.
The possible code values to avoid the redlink when a user name is missing are:

• c for {{ Uc | username }}
• t for {{ Ut | username }}
• w for {{ Uw | username }}
• wt for {{ Uwt | username }}
