So, you are bored enough or mad enough to dig up my user page. Great! Please leave bribes, barbs or blatherings on my talk page. I'm reasonably good about answering queries.
To satisfy your curiosity I am a retired U.S. Department of Treasury Special Agent (Series 1811 criminal investigator) who graduated from FSU in the 1970s. I love history and gathering facts. I work at being objective and fair in my occasionally clunky edits. I don't have the time I want to work on my areas of interest at this point, but hope to later. I think editing is a learned skill and gets better with practice, feedback and reflection.
Years ago I looked up the FSU article in Wikipedia and found it woefully inaccurate and frequently vandalized. From that point on I have worked to add accuracy and the really cool history of my alma mater. As time permits I hope to dig a bit deeper and improve the entire series of articles in this area. I am convinced that passionate amateur researchers can add substantial value to Wikipedia; an online effort I have observed become of increasing quality - one byte at a time.
